Today it is recognized around the world as the most renowned body of its kind, dedicated to honoring the highest achievements in color photography. The Photography Masters Cup nominees and winners are selected by Members of the Jury. Images are judged on the basis of artistic merit, originality, subject and style.
HASTED HUNT KRAEUTLER - New York
Joseph Kraeutler, Partner
Mr. Kraeutler has over ten years of experience successfully managing and promoting photographers and the sale of their work through numerous esteemed New York galleries. Mr. Kraeutler has extensive experience in advising private collectors in both contemporary and classic photography. In 2006, Joseph signed on as New York Director of the Photographs department with Phillips de Pury & Company. As active Director, he assembled numerous auctions quickly becoming known for his ability to introduce young talent into the auction world with powerful results. At the end of 2008, he resigned from his position at the auction house to start the company Klever Holdings Inc. where he is currently managing a large collection of important art as well as negotiating private treaty sales on behalf of a selective group of clients. In October of 2009 he partnered with Bill Hunt and Sarah Hasted to open a new gallery in Chelsea titled The Hasted Hunt Kraeutler Gallery. The gallery represents and exhibits such world renowned photographers as Edward Burtynsky, Erwin Olaf, Andreas Gefeller, Albert Watson, Jeff Bark among others. Mr. Kraeutler holds advanced degrees in Art as well as Business, and is active on the board of several charitable art-based organizations.

Alexander Montague-Sparey, Specialist Head of Sale
As Specialist Head of Sale at Christie's, Alexander Montague-Sparey is responsible for all London Photographs sales. Since his tenure at Christie's, Mr. Montague-Sparey has been responsible for sales including the 100% sold Norman Hall Collection, which included Self-portrait, Cuzco Studio, 1948 by Irving Penn, offered for the first time at auction. He also managed the sale of Gert Elfering's collection of Jeanloup Sieff, Photographies, where the world auction record was achieved for the artist with Yves Saint Laurent, Paris, 1971. In May 2011 he brought to market the largest Peter Beard ever to be offered at auction, Cheetahs, Tarn Desert, setting a world record for the artist. Prior to Christie's, Mr. Montague-Sparey worked for Phillips de Pury and Company, overseeing an international selling exhibitions programme of contemporary art, design and photographs, working with photographers such as Mario Testino, Annie Leibovitz, Tierney Gearon and the Guy Bourdin estate, curating the latter's first retrospective commercial show, Unseen. Alexander is also the UK correspondent for La Lettre de la Photographie. He has recently worked with the moving image, choreographing Robin Hardy's most recent film, The Wicker Tree, the sequel to the legendary The Wicker Man. Alexander earned his master's degree in the history of art from the University of Oxford.

Representing and dealing in modern established artists since 1987, Galerie Alex Daniels – Reflex Amsterdam opened a new space in 2003 to focus on young and established contemporary artists, and to put an accent on present-day photography and painting showing their different facets and kinds. The galleries are situated opposite each other in the centre of Amsterdam opposite the Rijksmuseum. In January 2010 a third space will be opened expanding our capacity to present young talents, established and contemporary artists.Annually Galerie Alex Daniels organizes 4 - 6 solo exhibitions and 3 - 4 group shows. We regularly initiate unparalleled projects and co-productions with artists like Yasumasa Morimura or David LaChapelle. Many artists like Daido Moriyama, Nobuyoshi Araki, and the young artist Mahomi Kunikata from Takashi Murakami’s Kaikai Kiki Co., Ltd. were given a steppingstone to the Dutch art scene with their first show at our gallery. A tradition of the gallery to produce limited editions and books in close collaboration with the artists. Galerie Alex Daniels participates at local and international art fairs including The Armory Show, Arco Madrid, Artissima Torino, Art Amsterdam, Art Rotterdam and EAB New York.

Brancolini Grimaldi Arte Contemporanea has locations in Rome and Florence and presents a program dedicated exclusively to contemporary photography and video. The only gallery in Italy to have such a focus, Brancolini Grimaldi represents several of the most important photographers, such as Olivo Barbieri, Francesco Jodice, and Massimo Vitali. The gallery also works with important international artists, including Mitch Epstein, Larry Sultan, and Andrea Fraser. The gallery is dedicated to producing and commissioning new works, as evidenced by Vitali's portfolio "Landscapes with Figures", as well as Barbieri's "site specific_ Las Vegas" 35 mm film. The focus on new emerging art trends throughout Europe and around the world is also an integral part of Brancolini Grimaldi's approach, hence the gallery also represents several younger, emerging artists.

Marcus Rebeschini, Chief Creative Officer
Marcus Rebeschini is Chief Creative Officer for Y&R Asia. In 2006, Campaign Brief Asia named him Advertising Person of the Year for consistent creative excellence over a two-year period and ranked him as the number one creative in Asia Pacific. His work has won hundreds of industry accolades and a host of best of shows, and his campaigns have been ranked in the top 10 of shots and the Gunn Report. As well as his creative credentials, Marcus also used to be a sponsored dirt boarder, having won a bronze medal at the World Dirt Boarding Championships in LA. Marcus returned to Asia in 2008, fresh from a successful stint with TBWA/Chiat/Day in New York with another Gold Lion from Cannes to his credit, and back to the scene of some of his greatest successes while with TBWA Singapore, where he helped the agency win its first ever two Gold Lions, lifting them to number one in the market, as well as earning five local and regional Agency of the Year citations. Working with some amazing talent throughout the network’s 17 offices, Y&R Asia has experienced a creative resurgence in the last two years. Y&R Jakarta won the country of Indonesia it’s first ever Gold Lion in 2010 and Y&R Singapore won Republic of Singapore Navy after the client being with Saatchi & Saatchi for 28 years – just one the many new business wins in the last two years including Tiger Beer, Audi, Bank Of Singapore, Good Year, Sands Casino and China Southern Airlines. Adam was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta. He studied anthropology at the University of Western Ontario before getting wise and landing a job in the ad biz. Prior to joining Rethink, Adam was an associate creative director at BBDO Toronto, where he worked on national campaigns for Tropicana, Pepsi, Doritos, Mercedes-Benz, Shaw Communications, RBC, and Harvey's. His diverse body of work has received international recognition, including Gold awards from The Cassies, The Bessies, The Digital Marketing Awards, and The Cannes Lions. In his spare time Adam can be found cycling, road-tripping, writing comic books, or stressing about how messy his backyard is.

Founded on Spain in 1986 originally as Clave Art Gallery, the gallery was renamed Two Heads Chicken Gallery in 2010 and moved its activities to Évora, Portugal, a city catalogued by Unesco as Patrimony of Humanity. It was in this historical city where gallery owners Antonio López and Eva Hernández Calderónthe bought and and restored an 18th century antique Palace as a location for the new Two Heads Chicken Gallery. The gallery promotes a diffusion of the latest emergent trends in the international figurative art market with special attention given to sculpture and photography. Independently of exhibitions previewed in its own space, the gallery also organizes various exhibitions and contemporary art activities for public and private institutions through LMC Productions. The gallery publishes bibliographical editions, graphical works, multiples of sculpture, photography and objects which are available at the Two Heads Chicken art shop.

Christos "Stos" DeVaris, Design Director
As Design Director for the National Geographic Channel (NGC), Christos "Stos" DeVaris is responsible for the network's overall graphic design efforts. Stos works to ensure a consistent style across all NGC platforms including programming, print, outdoor, and on-air promotion. He oversees all work handled by an internal staff of NGC designers as well as outside agencies, making sure all graphics are consistent with NGC's re-branding initiative "Dare To Explore." DeVaris comes to NGC from The Food Network, where he served for three years as director, on-air design, creative services. He led the network through a brand redesign process and oversaw all on-air graphic needs for marketing and affiliate sales. From 2000-2001, DeVaris designed and animated on-air promos and interstitials as the senior designer, creative services for Oxygen. From 1998-1999, he was a digital animation coordinator for MTV Animation and an animator for Nick Digital/Nickelodeon. DeVaris has also designed and animated graphics packages for TLC and ESPN. He has won two ProMax Awards and a BDA Award.

STILLS is a leading Australian gallery with a focus on contemporary photography and multimedia art. The gallery, established in 1991, is housed in a converted warehouse with a large exhibition and print room space in Paddington, Sydney's main gallery precinct. STILLS represents both emerging and established artists, and has a long history of fostering artists who work at the forefront of contemporary photo media practice. The gallery's annual program consists of nine exhibitions. STILLS also organizes artist talks throughout the year to promote discussion and understanding of the exhibited work. Jason Toh is Senior Curator at SAM (Singapore Art Museum), a national museum under the National Heritage Board since July 2011. He was previously the Curator of Photography at NMS (National Museum of Singapore) from 2004 to 2010. He received his B.A magna cum laude in Art History & French from Middlebury College (USA) in 2002 and studied French 19th & 20th century literature at the University of Paris III – Nouvelle Sorbonne (France) as an exchange student in 2001. He is leading the international projects and art prizes cluster within SAM’s curatorial department which entails exhibition content development for an international audience to understand and appreciate new forms of art-making in Asia of the 21st century and the discovery of artistic talent through platforms like the APB Signature Art Prize. He also serves as the editor for Visual Culture, a SAM/ exhibition in print project due in November 2011.
